E C Company believes it’s important to give back and support the causes that improve the lives of those around us; our employees, our clients, our families, and our neighbors. From the communities where we build to the places where our generators and engines are sold, we like to do something to improve the community and our quality of life.
Loaves and Fishes
Each week 2 of our 30 plus employee volunteers take a company van and deliver meals around downtown Portland to homebound seniors. This is a great reminder of how an hour or two can make a huge difference to those who can’t manage cooking or buying food themselves.

Habitat for Humanity
E C Company volunteers from Portland and the Aurora, Colorado Power Systems branch partner with Habitat for Humanity in their local areas to build two to three homes for deserving families each year. Our volunteer builders range in experience from highly skilled electricians to novice office employees.
E C's "Green Team"
E C’s green practices include a “Green Team” comprised of 10 employees that address recycling and waste prevention practices. Thanks to their campaign E C was recognized with the RecycleWorks Award by the City of Portland.
Supporting Our Staff
In addition to E C Company’s primary causes we also support a variety of other organizations that are important to our employees. Anything from youth sports to a Race for the Cure team to building a school in Uganda, Africa.
