Airport Infrastructure
One of the most challenging environments to perform work in can be at a working airport with ongoing operations. It can be critical to maintain certain operations and maintain ongoing power including emergency/backup power even while working on said systems. E C has completed numerous projects at Portland and SeaTac International Airports as well as municipal airports and larger regional airports. We know the obstacles to performing on a project in a working airport with ongoing operations. That is why we take every step possible to prevent any disruption and ensure the least possible impact on the traveling public, airlines, and tenants. Some of the ways we do this is through careful planning, off shift work schedules, effective use of the staging area(s) and using courtesy practices like signage to notify passengers, em-ployees and other trades of any disruptions whenever possible.
